UK Immigration staff have confirmed a planned strike will take place on Wednesday 5th August 2009. The strike will cause heavy delays for travel both in and outbound from UK airports. This strike may not be the only one this summer. British Airways staff, upset by the request to cut 4,000 jobs due to the airline’s continuing financial struggles.
