Getting to/from
Reaching Birmingham Airport by road
The airport is easily accessible from all directions. It is signposted from the M1, M5, M6 (with the option of the new, faster M6 toll road) and M40 via the M42. Exit the M42 at junction 6 and follow the signs for the airport, which is just one mile further on, on the A45 Coventry road. The postcode for sat-nav users is B26 3QJ.
Dropping off/picking up passengers
Birmingham Airport operates a Drop & Go stopping area next to the terminals. A 15-minute stay costs £1 (or £2 for 30 minutes). There is also the option of 15 minutes of FREE parking at the drop-off point in the airport’s Long Stay Car Park, which is linked to the terminal by a courtesy bus. Drivers picking up passengers should use the multi-storey Short and Medium Stay Car Parks 1, 2 or 3. These can be found across the road from the terminals.
Blue Badge holders benefit from a maximum of 60 minutes of FREE parking in the Drop & Go area. You must present your blue badge and car parking ticket at the NCP customer services desk in the terminal.
