A range of options for car parking is available, with prices generally falling as you get further away from the airport.

The airport itself runs a short-stay parking lot at each terminal, plus the Parking Express long stay car park. Business parking, chauffeured parking and valet parking are also available at all five terminals, but note that these are premium services – you pay for being close to the airport. There are also long stay-car parks operated by NCP (Tel. 0845 050 7080 or visit www.ncp.co.uk) and Purple Parking (Tel. 0845 450 0808 or visit www.purpleparking.com). Long-stay car parks are usually cheaper, but bear in mind that you need to allow more time to find your space and return to the airport in time for your flight.

A free shuttle service runs between Heathrow’s terminals and the long-term and business car parks.

Disabled drivers can get help from customer service staff at the car parks.

Motorbikes can park free of charge in the specially designated areas to be found at each terminal.
